PURPOSE:To provide a connector which keeps electric cables and hydraulic hoses from being twisted, by providing a rotary cylindrical manifold and a fixed cylindrical manifold fitted in the rotary manifold and fixed at the free end of a cable bearer. CONSTITUTION:In a connector 100 for cables in the rotary spindle head of a machine tool, cables C1, C2 for spindle motors M1, M2 and hoses H1-Hn for pressure oil and cooling liquid are inserted in a direction from the body of the machine tool, through a connection box 13b and a connection hole 14 provided in front of the rotary spindle head 5, and is supported by a cable bearer CB. The two electric cables C1, C2 introduced into the connection box 13b are inserted through the hole 13c of a manifold 13, taken out of a notch 13d at the rear end of the hole 13c is a radial direction, led out on a guide surface 17a in a radial direction, and helically wound around manifolds 12, 13. As a result, the cables and the pressure oil hoses are kept from being twisted. |
