PURPOSE:To always obtain a stable and good developed picture, even if a developing property of a toner is varied due to an environmental variation, by making a peripheral speed of a developer carrier a little higher than that of a latent image holding body. CONSTITUTION:In case a latent image holding body 1 and a developing sleeve 2 obtain a rotation of a speed ratio of 1 to 1, the number of teeth of a gear of the sleeve side is decreased a little. As a result, a peripheral speed of the developing sleeve 2 becomes a little higher than that of the latent image holding body 1, and a good picture is obtained. |
