PURPOSE:To polish a corner angular surface for finishing so efficiently, by making a corner angular part of the wood work mounted on a table contact toward an angular surface made up of the front of a surface plate and a sliding plate, while making a polishing belt come into a state of being projected somewhat more nearer to the table side than a vertical line. CONSTITUTION:An L-shaped base plate 4 is erected on a box body 2 making up a device body, and a traveling roller 6 is pivotally supported on an upper surface part of a vertical base plate 4a free of turning motion, while a vertical surface plate 7 is erected on the sidepiece corresponding to the roller 6, and a sliding plate 8 is installed in the bottom surface part of a horizontal direction, thus a corner angular part of a wood work 1 is efficiently polished for finishing. A polishing belt 20 is stretched over so as to pass through rollers 6 and 13, the surface plate 7 and the sliding plate 8, and on the roller 13, pressing force acts with a hydraulic cylinder 21 in an arrow (b) direction. A vertical surface (g) of the surface plate 7 is made to be somewhat projected to the side of a table 28 whereby a slide of the polishing belt 20 is smoothed. |
