PURPOSE:To change a color of copying by only replacing a part of a developing means, by dividing a cartridge for constituting a process unit into two parts, and installing the developing means to the inside of one of them so as to be attachable and detachable. CONSTITUTION:One process unit U is constituted by containing a photosensitive drum 7, an electrostatic charge pole 8, a developing device 9, a destaticizing pole 19 and a cleaner 20, in a cartridge 21. The cartridge 21 is constituted of two cartridge parts 212, 213 by making an exposing slit 211 a boundary. The developing device 9 is loaded to the inside of the cartridge part 212. Accordingly, the developing device 9 can be separated independently from the process unit U and replaced, therefore, in case of executing a copying by different colors or a copying of a multi-color, it will do that its developing device 9 only is prepared at each color. |
