This safety-binding assembly for fastening a boot (4) to a ski (1) comprises at least one front binding or stop (2) and a rear binding (3). The front stop (2) includes a sensor for sensing the longitudinal force (F2) exerted by the boot (4) on this stop (2). This sensing operation acts on the locking mechanism of this stop (2) by reducing the resistance thereof to lateral release in order to compensate for the action of the friction forces. The rear binding is shaped so as to amplify this longitudinal force (F2) during raising of the heel of the boot (4) during the process of falling forwards.
