Percussive reversing device

A percussion member (4) is arranged in an axially displaceable manner in a housing (1). Under the action of a pressure medium fed through a flexible pipeline (14), the percussion member (4) either strikes against the front housing part (2) in order to sink a borehole, for example, with the device or, after reversal, against the rear housing part (3) in order to move the device back again out of the borehole. A control member (9) movably connected to the percussion member (4) is used for the reversal. The control member (9) is likewise axially displaceable in the housing (1). The reversal is effected by shutting off the pressure medium and be exerting a pulling force on the flexible pipeline (14), the pulling force having to be maintained until the pressure medium is fed again. After the pressure medium is shut off again, the device automatically assumes the operating position again for the forward motion. Such a reversing device is easy to operate and has a reliable reversing action.
