This regulator 1 comprises a double piston 19 with an axial conduit 23 receiving the supply pressure on one side. The chamber 16 situated on the other side is provided with a vent 26. A shutoff 37 loaded by a support 40 is securely fastened to two membranes 29, 33 having movable parts 30, 35 with very different surface areas. The pressure to be regulated is introduced between the two membranes. Application to the precise regulation of low relative pressures above or below atmospheric pressure, for example for making reservoirs inert or for keeping glove boxes in partial vacuum for the manipulation of radioactive products. <IMAGE>
