PURPOSE:To eliminate high-precision parts, simplify structure, and perform secure operation by supplying correcting pulses for the number of pulses corresponding to the quantity of metered light having relation to subject brightness, and correcting exposure. CONSTITUTION:When exposure is corrected, the changeover switch S5 of the exposure correcting circuit 15 is switched to as contact (a) or (c) corresponding speed is obtained while corrected by increasing or decreasing the number of pulses which is counted by a counting signal 10 with a signal from the circuit 15 and corresponds to the correction amount of exposure. Then when a -1EV correction is made, a gate circuit 7 is closed while the number 2K of pulses is counted by a counting circuit 9 to cut off input pulses to the circuit 10, decreasing the counted value. When a +1EV correction is made, the gate circuit 7 is opened while the circuit 9 counts the number 2K of pulses and pulses which are 2K more are inputted to and counted by the circuit 10.
