The present invention relates to an electric load control device having a resistive component touch-actuatable from 1 or n points in which the 1 or n so-called sensitive electrodes can be of large surface area. It is characterised in that it comprises: - an electric load 6; - a relay which may be static 5; - an excitation circuit 4; - a negative-impedance current converter circuit 3; - an attenuator circuit; - a conductive or semiconductive touch electrode 1 of resistance less than 10 M OMEGA , the surface area of which can advantageously exceed 25 cm<2>. In the case of n control points, the connections between the n stations can be made by means of conductive paints carrying microcurrents. <IMAGE>
