The invention relates to a device allowing removal or reduction to a great extent of the discomfort arising during use of a medical bed-pan. This device takes the form of a cushion with dimensions matched to those of existing medical bed-pans. This device can exist in several versions, as a function of the type of bed-pan used as well as the models: disposable, reusable, washable, sterile disposable, etc. This device is intended for all bed-ridden people using medical bed-pans, in particular for the 610,000 ill people hospitalised in France.
