PURPOSE:To reduce power consumption with a signal processor by actuating a means which detects the presence or absence of an input signal for each fixed interval decided by the duty ratio of a control signal and applying a power supply to the signal processor when the input signal is supplied to a circuit having the specified actuation. CONSTITUTION:The signal of a line l6 is supplied to the gate of an NMOSTRQ1 via resistance R2. The TRQ1 is turned on when at least one of a control signal Pc and the signal of the line l6 has a high level. Thus a current path is formed for the TRQ1 and bipolar TRs Q2-Q5 respectively. Then the TRQ5 and TRs Q6-Q8 as well as the TRs Q9 and Q10 form current mirrors respectively and therefore TRs Q6-Q10 are turned on. While the TRs Q5-Q10 function as a constant current circuit. Thus a reception device can work just in an extremely short period of time during which the signal Pc is set at a high level. This reduces greatly the power consumption of said reception device. In addition, the workable period of said reception device can be freely set by the duty ratio of the signal Pc. |
