PURPOSE:To simplify the structure by providing a detector for detecting the minimum lead angle position and two positions leading further than the maximum lead position while controlling the lead angle characteristic through a control circuit having a phase control circuit for controlling the phase with triangular wave. CONSTITUTION:A signal produced from a pulser 2 through rotation of rotor 1 is shaped 3 and provided to FF4 the output of which is provided to on-time control circuit 5 and basic lead angle characteristic control circuit 6. Then the outputs from said circuits 5, 6 are combined and fed to phase control circuit 8 and OR gate 10. The phase control circuit 8 will perform phase control with triangle wave which will start discharge at predetermined angle from the point determined by said circuit 6 while produce an ignition signal of predetermined level to start discharge and the triangular charging current is controlled in accordance to the output of pressure sensor 7 for detecting the intake manifold pressure. The power transistor 11 is controlled by the outputs of said circuit 8 and FF4. |
