Friction clutch monitoring arrangement

This arrangement is of the type intended to monitor the input and output elements of the casing of a friction clutch, and the components which are stressed in contact by friction in order to achieve the transmission of a torque between the input and output elements. According to the invention the monitoring arrangement comprises first means 27, 28 for measuring the slipping speed between the input and output elements 12, second means 29 for supplying an indication of the pressure applied to the components to bring them into contact by friction and other means sensitive to the signals supplied by the first and second means to give an indication of the temperature of the clutch components. <IMAGE>
