PURPOSE:To obtain a smooth decorative member having no stepped part on the surface by joining sections of two or more kinds along longitudinal side edges and cutting crosswise a long-sized openwork section having a sectional form of openwork pattern. CONSTITUTION:The plane shape of a decorative member 1 is divided by division lines 1a-1g, and the shape of small parts A-H is selected respectively to a sectional form for which extrusion forming is possible. Then, extrusion sections having the same sectional form with parts A- are formed by extrusion, and these extrusion sections are joined by welding along side edges in the direction of length corresponding to the division lines 1a- successively. When a long- sized openwork section is formed, this is cut crosswise in the direction of length at specified intervals to obtain a desired decorative member 1. Thus, manufacture of a smooth openwork decorative member having no stepped part on the surface becomes possible. |
