<p>Method and apparatus for scanning the absolute moisture of seed samples by measuring the absorption coefficient of a high frequency electromagnetic field in constant operation conditions, by controlling the initial temperature and the heating of the sample during the measurement as well as by measuring the compaction degree of the sample with the automatic moisture correction, as a function of all said parameters. The apparatus is comprised of a high frequency generator (A) a coil (C) wherein are simultaneously measured: 1) the absorption coefficient of the electromagnetic field in stable operation conditions; 2) the densimetry of the sample in the form of the compaction index by the absorption of a sound or ultrasonic signal; 3) the initial temperature and the heating. The value of the absolute moisture of the sample will be measured and automatically corrected as a function of all said parameters.</p> |
