Method and device for the positive pressing-in of elastomeric sealing profiles (8) into frame profiles (7). A pressing roller (15) is provided, the cross-section of which corresponds to the cross-section of the outwardly facing part of the sealing profile (8). The pressing roller (15) is driven with a circumferential speed which is greater than the translation speed with which the axis of the pressing roller moves relatively parallel to the longitudinal axis of the frame profile (7). The direction of rotation of the pressing roller is selected in such a manner that the part length of the sealing profile (8), which is already situated positively in the frame profile, is subjected to compression. The pressing roller can in this case be moved in relation to the stationary frame profile (7) on a basic body (1) which is movable by means of castors (4, 5). Alternatively, the basic body (1) can be arranged in a stationary manner and the frame profile (7) can be moved along the pressing roller (15). <IMAGE>
