A sledge is constructed in particular as an air-cushion sledge with air-cushion beads. At least two of these beads are arranged sloping in a mirror-symmetrical manner with respect to the longitudinal centre of the sledge. The sledge can be steered by subjecting these sloping beads or similar runner elements to different pressures.
