The subject of the invention is an automatic device consisting of a leaded container and of approximately 1,000 extremely small car numbers of the respective motor vehicle contained therein. This device scatters these extremely small car numbers in the manner of "ammunition" and at the same time produces a bang in the event of motor vehicle collisions. The result of this is that, inter alia in the event of traffic accidents involving a hit-and-run driver, the culprit can be immediately detected by the police.
