<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the deformation of a turbine case and generation of crack by arranging an opened scroll chamber equipped with an exhaust bypass valve onto a compressor side and arranging a closed scroll chamber equipped with a control valve onto a turbine outlet side. CONSTITUTION:Though, in an engine low-speed operation range, exhaust gas flows onto in the direction of arrow A, a control valve 10 is opened, and exhaust gas flows in the both directions of arrows A and B in an engine high- speed operation range. When an exhaust bypass valve 9 is opened, exhaust gas flows to a turbine outlet side 8, making a detour around a center housing side, passing through an exhaust bypass valve 9 from an exhaust bypass hole 14. Since exhaust gas flows, passing through a scroll chamber 6 on the center housing side, the center housing side is warmed, and the direction of flow-out of exhaust gas is opposed to a closed scroll chamber 7 side, said closed scroll chamber 7 is warmed by the heat transmission from an exhaust outlet side.</p> |
