DEVICE FOR DUST PRECIPITATION BY ELECTROSTATIC TREATMENT AND FILTRATION

PURPOSE:To collect highly resistive dust stably with low ventilation loss for a long time by inhibiting the rise in the ventilation loss of a bag filter after the generation of reverse ionization. CONSTITUTION:Plural preliminary electric charge chambers which are partitioned parallel to the direction of gas stream are provided to the inside of a preliminary electric charge apparatus 1. The gas is flowed into only chamber 1a with a changeover damper 9 for a gas passage and further a changeover switch 5 is connected with (a)-(c) and D.C. high voltage is charged to only the chamber 1a. In this state, the dust contained in an exhaust gas is charged enough in the chamber 1a and it is filtered and collected with a bag filter 3 in a filtration- dust collector 7 of a post-stage. In this state, when it is confirmed that reverse ionization phenomena have been generated in the chamber 1a, the switch 5 is connected with (b)-(c) are furthermore damper 9 is changed over and the gas is flowed into only the chamber 1b and thereby the dust 2 contained in the exhaust gas is recharged normally, filtered and collected in bag filter 3.
