PURPOSE:To record a picture on a recording medium by impressing a voltage between a member to be transferred and a photoconductive layer and also allowing a light irradiating section opposite to a transparent conductive layer to irradiate the photoconductive layer corresponding to a picture so as to utilize an electric injection to a conductive magnetic toner with simple constitution. CONSTITUTION:In order to record a picture onto a recording medium 40, the conductive magnetic toner 41 in a conductive magnetic toner supply device 33 is carried from an outer circumference face of a fixed outer cylinder 31 to a photoconductive layer 38 by turning a rotary magnetic roller 32 at first. While a prescribed voltage is impressed between the transparent conductive layer 37 and the transfer electrode 39, a picture signal is inputted to a light emitting array element 35 for picture write and the said light emitting array element 35 is lighted selectively corresponding to the picture pattern so as to form a toner image 41a based on the picture recording principle onto the recording medium 40 carried between the photoconductive layer 38 and the transer electrode 39. The picture recording is attained easily with simple device constitution without initial corona electrostatic charge or high voltage switching by fixing the said toner image 41a.
