PURPOSE:To make the length of a flight deck short, by winding up mooring wires connected to a marine air port which is built by joining a plurality of existing ships together, so that the marine airport is movable on the sea. CONSTITUTION:A marine airport is built such that a flight deck 4 is laid on the top surface of a marine floating body 3 which is formed of a pluraliry of existing large-size tankers 2A, 2B coupled together at the ends thereof, and a mooring device is formed being composed of wires 6a connected at their front ends to fixtures 5 on the sea bottom, and winches 6. Upon landing of an aircraft A the wires 6a are wound up by the winches 6 to move the marine floating body 3 in the same direction as that of landing of the aircraft. With this arrangement, a marine airport may be built at a low cost with the use of existing large-size tankers, and further, by moving the airport in the landing direction of an aircraft the length of the flight deck may be made short.
