PURPOSE:To provide a slip sheet for glass, having a bulk density lower than a specific level, and capable of storing glass plates without causing the burning of the glass and the adhesion of the paper to the surface of the glass. CONSTITUTION:A sheet of paper having a bulk density of <=0.55g/cm<3> (preferably <=0.4g/cm<3>) is used as a slip sheet for inserting between glass plates such as laminated glass plates during the transportation and storage of the glass. There occurs no iridescent stain and clouding in the glass even by the long accelerated test (60 deg.C and 98-100RH%) or 25 days by the use of the above slip sheet. A slip sheet haing a bulk density of <=0.55g/cm<3> can be manufactured e.g. by lowering the pressure of the press in the paper-making procedure, or by entangling the fibers in multiple directions.
