The invention relates to a cross-country ski binding for cross-country ski boots with a front sole end which is drawn forward and designed as a hook, open towards the underside, with a cross-piece which is mounted in lateral jaws for interaction with the hook and extends upwards from a baseplate which is to be fitted solidly to the ski.
