PURPOSE:To attain ease of revision of a managing table, by remaking the managing table in response to the state of a flag relating to an extent being in the outside of managing objective of the vacant area managing table, and cutting off the minimum extent at returning, and forming the managing table into a fixed length. CONSTITUTION:An allocating circuit 3 cuts out the extent of an allocated request space amount from the extent indicated with the 1st search circuit 2 or the 2nd search circuit 6 for revising the vacant space managing table (AST). A discriminating circuit 4 operates a refreshing circuit 5 when the allocated request space amount is not searched at the 1st search circuit 2 and a flag F represeting the AST overflow is set, for remaking the AST. A discriminating circuit 10 compares and discriminates the minimum extent (x) entered to the AST and a return space amount (n). When the return space amount (n) is larger, a drop circuit 11 is operated to delete the minimum extent from the AST. |
