PURPOSE:To allow the set to respond to a call without mistake of message by recording a basic response message to a tape and also a temporary response message optionally and selecting the basic response message and the temporary response message with a switch at absence. CONSTITUTION:A response message selecting switch 61 is turned off when the basic response message is recoreded and reproduced and turned on when the temporary response message is recorded and reproduced. In recording a business message after the basic response message is responded to at absence, the selection switch 61 is turned off (position of basic response message) and an absence/ presence switch 62 is turned on (absence position). When a phone call comes, its ring signal is detected by a detection circuit 56, its detected output is fed to a microcomputer 60, a relay 58 is driven through an amplifier 57, its contact 58S is closed and a coupling circuit 45 is connected to a telephone line 3. |
