PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composition of significantly improved bond strength against metal debonding and impact among others, by incorporating 2-cyanoacrylate adhesive with nitride and/or carbide of the element(s) belonging to the III- or IV-group in the periodic table. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition can be obtained by incorporating (A) a 2-cyanoacrylate adhesive with (B) nitride and/or carbide of the element(s) belonging to the III- or IV-group in the periodic table (pref. silicon nitride, boron nitride, silicon carbide; needle- or whisker-form one(s). The most preferable amounts to be used are as follows: 2-cyanoacrylate ... 100pts.wt., the component (B) ... 0.1-10pts.wt. USE:Prevention of loosening of bolts and nuts; setting of fitting parts such as motor shafts; sealing or potting of pipe joints, etc.
