<p>Keyboard with capacitive keys which is operable through a thick dielectric wall which is integral therewith or not, method and means for scanning the keys of said keyboard. Said keyboard is provided for example to be installed inside an agency or a store and coupled to a micro-informatic system providing audiovisual information selected at the request of a passer-by on the street and operating the keyboard through a shop window, even if it is a very thick window. Said keyboard comprises a base panel (1) made of electrically insulating material provided with Cnm electrodes deposited on or integrated into said panel. Said electrodes embody the keys, each of them being associated to a free oscillator and presenting a capacity influencing the natural frequency of the associated oscillator when a mass is opposed to said key on the other side of the dielectric wall (2) on which is placed the base panel. Said keyboard also comprises the electric means required for the scanning of the keys.</p> |
