NEW MATERIAL:A compound shown by the formula I [R' is cycloalkyl, alkenyl, or alkynyl; A is condensed thiazole, or (substituted)thiazole] and its salt. EXAMPLE:7-[2-( 2-Aminothiazol-4-yl )-(Z)-2-propargyloxyiminoacetamido]-3-[3-(4,5, 6,7-tetrahydrobenzothiazolio)]methyl-3-cephem-4-carboxylate. USE:An antibacterial agent. Effective widely against Gram-positive and Gram- negative bacteria, being administered orally or parenterally. PREPARATION:For example, a compound shown by the formula II (Z is acetoxy, carbamoyloxy, Cl, Br, or I) or its salt is reacted with a thiazole derivative (e.g., 4,5,6,7-tetrahydrobenzothiazole), to give a compound shown by the formula I . |
