PURPOSE:To obtain a compression mold, which has excellent moldability while a molding cycle thereof can be shortened, by mounting a sliding cylinder section to the outer circumference of either one of a top force or a bottom force while fitting a section to be slid to the outer circumference of the other. CONSTITUTION:A top force 1 is moved upward and separated from a bottom force 2, and a molding material 14 consisting of a synthetic resin is charged into the recessed section 12 of a cavity. The top force 1 is lowered and a section to be slid 5 is inserted into a sliding cylinder section 4, and the inside of the space 3 for suction and the cavity section are brought to negative pressure through suction from a suction port 7 after a point of time when the section to be slid 5 begins to intrude into the sliding cylinder section 4. The top force 1 is further lowered, the top force 1 is conformed to the bottom force 2, the molding material 14 in the recessed section 12 is pushed by a projecting section 13, and the molding material 14 is spread over the whole in the cavity. Suction is also continued from the suction port 7 at that time. Compression molding is completed, a molded shape is formed, the top force 1 is elevated, molds are released, and the molded shape is extracted.
