PURPOSE:To aim at miniaturizing a controller in a power steering device, by storing an oil flow characteristic in a memory to be used as the data which is read out and compensated in accordance with a running condition which is determined by an averaged steered degree, an averaged vehicle speed and a load condition. CONSTITUTION:A vehicle speed signal generating circuit 1 issues a vehicle speed signal having a pulse number which varies in accordance with the speed of a vehicle, and a steering signal generating circuit 2 issues a steering signal having a pulse number in accordance with a steered degree. A light load detecting circuit 4 issues a light load signal having a zero level when the value of load is less than a predetermined value, and a heavy load detecting circuit 3 issues a heavy load signal having a zero level when the value of load 4 is greater than a predetermined value. A solenoid coil 7 controls a valve disposed in an oil passage in association with the above-mentioned signals and in accordance with the duty ratio of a signal fed from a solenoid coil drive circuit 6 so that the amount of oil fed to a power steering unit is controlled. |
