PURPOSE:To reduce the amt. of desorption of malodorous component which has been once adsorbed in a deodorizing filter of an air cleaning device by using active carbon added with a liq. capable of causing chemisorption for alkaline gas, acidic gas, and vapor of aldehydes, etc. CONSTITUTION:A deodorizing filter 6 is constituted of a vessel prepd. by forming with nonwoven fabric, wire gauze, or resin case, and contg. a deodorizing agent consisting of active carbon added with a liquid capable of causing chemisorption for alkaline gas such as NH3, acidic gas such as H2S, and aldehydes such as acetaldehyde. Air contg. cigarette smoke is sucked by a blower 2 in the deodorizing filter, and particle dust is collected by a dust collecting filter 4. Then, acetaldehyde, H2S, NH3 are removed by chemisorption by the deodorizing filter 6. |
