PURPOSE:To save the number of feeding devices and also to ensure feeding of a main transmission line even if one branch line is failed by connecting plural branching transmission lines to both ends of the main transmission line and feeding power to the main transmission line from one of power feeding means in each branching transmission line terminal station so as to allow the rest feeding means to supply power into the branching transmission line. CONSTITUTION:When a feeding voltage nXVS of a terminal station 7-1 and a feeding voltage -Vs of terminal stations 7-2, 7-3 are applied to each feeding line, a feeding current of i0 is fed to a repeater 8-1 or the like of each branching transmission line in each feeding line. In this case, the current i0 is grounded at a terminal station 7-4 via the repeater 8-1, a diode D1, a feeding line 14-1 and a repeater 10-2 or the like. The -Vs is applied respectively at the terminal stations 7-2, 7-3 and the feeding current i0 is energized. The power feeding to each repeater of the main transmission line is fed from the terminal station 7-1 and if the feeding system is failed, a device equivalent to the feeding device 15-1 is reconnected to the 15-2 and the power is fed to the main transmission line from the terminal station 7-2. |
