A drive device for window wipers on motor vehicles is described, in which the drive wheel has an eccentrically arranged bearing eye for receiving a pin connected to a coupling rod. According to the invention, this bearing eye has a cross-sectional face which deviates from a circular shape so that receiving bores can be made in this bearing eye at a different distance from the axis of rotation of the drive wheel and/or at a different angular position with a uniform outer contour of the bearing eye.
