PURPOSE:To increase a work limit range and to improve working efficiency, by a method wherein after an off-shore structure is built, a semi-submarine type carrier ship is lowered through regulation of ballast, and the off-shore structure is placed on a jacket for assembly. CONSTITUTION:An off-shore structure B is integrally built on a deck part 13 of a semi-submarine type carrier ship A, and the off-shore structure is transported to an installation side with the aid of the semi-submarine type carrier ship A. The carrier ship A is moved in a manner to straddle a foundation jacket D, and the carrier ship A is lowered through regulation of ballast. Leg parts B4 are inserted into transition pieces D1 to join them together for assembly, and the carrier ship A is further lowered through regulation of ballast to pull out from the both end parts of the jacket D. This enables reduction of an amount of a vertical impact load produced by an external force such as waves, and permits simplification of the structure of a shock absorbing device i. |
