PURPOSE:To obtain an image of high quality without uneven density in dots by providing an adjusting resistance section to make the calorific values equal among heat generating bodies in a thick film type thermal printer head. CONSTITUTION:Thick film type heat generating bodies 4 are formed on a ceramic substrate 5 in several trains and lead electrodes couples 6 are connected thereto. Adjusting resistance sections 7 are formed on the substrate 5 being connected in series to the heat generating bodies 4 for each of the lead electrode couples 6 at the positions properly separated from the respective heat generating bodies 6. Notch sections 8 formed at the adjusting resistance sections 7 by trimming are adjusted in the working size to regulate the resistance value thereof 7. This facilitates the adjustment to make calorific values equal between the heat generating bodies 4 measuring the resistance R1 of the heat generating bodies 4 and the resistance R2 of the adjusting resistance section 7. |
