PURPOSE:To simplify the assembly process, by spirally sticking a unit holding positive active material, a unit holding positive and negative active material, and a unit holding negative active material through a separator and a packing. CONSTITUTION:Unit 1 is cylindrical whose one side opening is closed in shape, and it holds positive active material 2 inside. Unit 6 is cylindrical, and in shape its inside is partitioned by a division wall 6' through which an electric conductor 8 passes. And, one side of the division wall 6' holds positive active material 2 and the other side holds negative active material 7, respectively. Unit 9 is cylindrical whose one side opening is closed in shape, and it holds negative active material 7 inside. Thereby, a monoblock lead storage battery can be easily assembled only by spirally sticking each unit through a separator 3 and a packing 4. |
