PURPOSE:To reduce the generation of noises by providing numerous holes on an outer frame composing a container part housing an ink ribbon. CONSTITUTION:Numerous holes 2 are provided on an outer frame 1 which forms a box for housing a ribbon cartridge. A shaft 7 for supporting an unused film ribbon rotatably against the ribbon cartridge 1 and a shaft 5 which turns through the transmitted driving with a feed roller 4 and a rubber belt 6 to wind a used film ribbon are mounted on the ribbon cartridge outer frame 1. The shafts 7, 4 and 5 is free to turn on the outer frame 1 and a corresponding play is imparted to respective engaged sections therebetween. This play and others cause a noise with the printing action of a printer but the numerous holes 2 provided on the outer frame 1 can reduce vibration area of the outer frame thereby inhibiting the generation of noises. |
