A pyrotechnic destruction device (5-22) for a cover (3-23) obturating a conduit (1-21), this device comprising a hollow body (9-28) in which is placed a pyrotechnic filling (14-32) externally initiatable, this hollow body comprising an orifice directed towards the cover, characterised in that the hollow body is at least partially filled with resistant granular elements (12-31) which are interposed between said pyrotechnic filling (14-32) and the ejection orifice (10).
