<p>PURPOSE:A natural circulation cooler in which a pair pipe consisting of insulated pipe is inserted into duct, and the tip of pair pipe is connected and the bottom of it is connected to condensing cooler for effecting natural circulation. CONSTITUTION:A pair pipe A consisting of the insulated pipe 1, made by covering the usual metal pipe 2 with the insulating material 3, constituting a refrigerant supply pipe, and the non-insulated pipe 4, constituting a cooling pipe, is inserted into the duct B of cable. At the one end of the pair pipe A, the insulated pipe 1 and the non-insulated pipe 4 are connected, and its base portion is also connected to the condensing cooler 6 provided at a position higher than the duct B. Then, the pair pipe is filled with the refrigerant 7, which is vaporized by the heat of cable in the non-insulated pipe, flows into the condensing cooler 6, flows into the insulated pipe 1, and then goes back to the non-insulated pipe 4 again. Such a circulation is repeated and thus natural circulation is produced to cool the cable D.</p> |
