摘要 PURPOSE:To utilize effectively space without altering the arrangement constitution of a conventional light wave range finder by replacing the optical path of reference light with an optical fiber. CONSTITUTION:Infrared light is reflected to an objective lens 5; and part of the infrared light is made incident on the incidence end surface 11a of the optical fiber 11 for the reference light optical path and transmitted through the optical fiber 11, and it is projeced from its projection end surface 11b and passed through an optical attenuator 10 to reach a photodetection part 6 as the reference light. Further, the majority of the infrared light reflected by the reflecting surface 7a of a dichroic prism 7 toward the objective lens 5 is passed through the objective lens 5 and reflected by a reflector 8, and this light is further transmitted through the objective lens 5 again and reflected by the reflecting surface 9a of a reflecting member 9 toward the photodetecting part 6 to obtain transmit light as distance measurement information. The reference light or transmit light is selected by a shutter device 2 and photodetected by the photodetecting part 6. Further, the optical fiber 11 for the reference optical path is bundled integrally with an optical fiber 12 for irradiating a reticle part.
