摘要

PURPOSE:To improve additionally the adhesion of a magnetic layer to a base body by using a glycidyl type opoxy compd. having >=2 clycidyl groups in one molecule as a primer. CONSTITUTION:A glycidyl type epoxy compd. to be used as a primer has >=2 glycidyl groups in one molecule. These >=2 glycidyl group cause ring opening by drying after formation of a primer layer and drying after formation of a magnetic layer and bind securely with the residual OH group on the surface of a polyester base film and therefore said compd. exhibits extremely high adhesion to the polyester base film. Said groups bind also with the OH group incorporated into the binder component in the magnetic layer and therefore the compd. has extremely good adhesion to the magnetic layer. On the other hand, the bond with the OH group on the surface of the polyester base film is not sufficient with a glycidyl group type epoxy compd. having one glycidyl group in one molecule and the adhesion to the polyester base film is not improved to a fully satisfactory level and the substantial improvement of the adhesion to the base body of the magnetic material is not possible.
