PURPOSE:To eliminate a distortion component produced at an output by providing a series circuit comprising a resistor and a capacitor between an emitter of an emitter follower circuit in the titled circuit and a common point or between the emitter and a DC power supply and setting properly the ratio of the AC component to the DC component of the emitter current. CONSTITUTION:The circuit is constituted by combining an emitter follower circuit comprising a PNP transistor (TR)Q2 and a common emitter amplifier circuit (or emitter follower circuit) comprising an NPN TRQ3. Furthermore, the series circuit comprising a resistor Rc and a capacitor C is connected between the emitter of the Q2 and a DC power supply Vcc. An output signal v0 is expressed in equation I , where ie1, IE1 are the AC and DC component of the emitter current of the Q3 and ie2 and IE2 are the AC and DC component of the emitter current of the Q3. Thus, with the relation of ie1/IE1=ie2/IE2, the distortion component is cancelled. Then the value of the resistor Rc of the series circuit comprising the resistor Rc and the capacitor C has only to be set as ie1/IE1=ie2/IE2.
