PURPOSE:To restrict the width of diffusion of purified air by the effect of high- speed air stream blown out of a blow-off port face having small coefficient of ventilating resistance by arranging the blow-off port faces, having different coefficients of ventilating resistance, at a blow-off port. CONSTITUTION:The blow-off port 5 is constituted of a perforated plate face 10 and a slit face 11, whose ventilating resistance coefficient of air is smaller than the perforated plate face 10, and the slit face 11 is arranged at a side near a suction port 6. The air B, purified by a filter 3, is blown off into a room through the blow-off port 5. In this case, the ventilating resistance coefficient of air of the slit face 11 is smaller than the same coefficient of the perforated plate face 10, therefore high-speed and much amount of air is blown off through the slit face 11. A belt-like high-speed air stream D is generated between the suction face 6 and the perforated plate face 10, therefore, the low-speed purified air B, blown off through the perforated plate face 10, is not induced by the suction air A and, accordingly, the shortcircuit of the purified air B will never be caused. |
