MANUFACTURE OF REFLECTING PLATE FOR CIRCULARLY POLARIZED WAVE ANTENNA

PURPOSE:To eliminate the cut-off of a metallic layer after forming by applying injection-molding of a thermoplastic resin contg. an inorganic packing agent to a thermoplastic resin layer of a laminated metallic layer to a prescribed thickness. CONSTITUTION:The thermoplastic resin layer of the laminated metallic layer 3 to a male metallic die 1 is mounted to the moving part of the metallic die. After the metallic die is closed, a thermoplastic resin contg. an inorganic packing agent undergoes injection molding from a gate 4. The resin is formed so as to be made thin sequentially so that the thickness of the peripheral part is 1/6-5/6 to the thickness of the center part. In forming a reflecting plate in this way, the cut-off of the metallic layer after forming is avoided.
