In a method for pump limit regulation of axial fans having adjustable rotor vanes, the duty point of the fan is covered up to the region where the volume flow generated is associated with a defined pressure increase at a given vane angle, by means of the controlled variables of rotor vane angle and volume flow, and up to the break-away limit is additionally covered by means of the controlled variable of pressure increase. As a result, it is possible to operate the fan right up to the break-away limit. |
