PURPOSE:To effectively suppress a slip, by stopping the intensifying action of torque performed by a torque converter when a wheel slips or it is in an easily slipping condition further when a vehicle is accelerated. CONSTITUTION:A device, connecting a slip detecting means 70 and an acceleration time detecting means 60 to an operation control means 80, stops the torque intensifying action performed by a torque converter 10 by the lock-up action in a power transmission route due to a lock-up means 15 when a wheel slips or it is in an easily slipping condition further when a vehicle is accelerated. In this way, a slip of the wheel can be effectively suppressed by enabling excessive driving torque to be prevented from its transmission as small as possible to the wheel. |
