PURPOSE:To always execute normal and inversion developments by uniform and sufficient density by constituting the titled device to make toners used for the first developing device and the second developing device common to each other, and carriers contained in the first developing device and the second developing device different from eath other. CONSTITUTION:In a developing device 4 used in case of a nomal development, a two component developer 38 consisting of a toner and a carrier is contained, and by rotation of a stirring srew 30, the toner is rubbed against the carrier and electrified enough to the polarity opposite to an electrification of a photosensitive drum 9. In this state, when a magnetic roll 26 in a developing sleeve 4A rotates in the direction as indicated with an arrow G, and the developing sleeve 4A rotates in the direction as indicated with an arrow D, the developer 38 is carried in the direction as indicated with the arrow D on the circumferential surface of the developing sleeve 4A in a state that its thickness is controlld by a tuft rise control plate 32, approaches the photosensitive drum 9, the toner adheres to the photosensitive drum 9 by an electrostatic force, and a development is executed. A eveloper 37 is contained in a developing device 5. A toner 40 in it is the same as the toner of the developer 37 of the developing device 4, and its carrier is different from a carrier of the developer 37. |
