PURPOSE:To perform visual inspection of a welded part at one place quickly and readily, by moving a television cameras along a welded line, and extracting the color data components for inspection and the shape data components of the welded part from the picture data obtained by the cameras. CONSTITUTION:A penetrating liquid is applied to a welded part by a color contrast penetrant examination method. After the liquid is wiped out, white developing liquid is applied. Then the defective part is changed into a red color. Television cameras 19 and 20 are moved along the welded line. The movement and expansion operation of the cameras are controlled by a controllers 21. The picture data, which are outputted from the television cameras 19 and 20 are displayed on a picture display part 23 through a picture processing circuit 22. The inspector observes the change in color at the welded part and performs the inspection. |
