摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce a ghost, and to reduce a power source capacity and a withstand voltage of an electrifier by executing a uniform exposure to a photosensitive body, while a toner image exists on the surface of the photosensitive body, in an electrophographic device of an inversion development and transfer system using a silicone compound photosensitive body. CONSTITUTION:A ghost erasing exposing lamp 14 is a light source for giving a uniform exposure onto a photosensitive drum 1 after a development. An electrostatic latent image is formed by a picture exposure 3, brought to an inversion development by a developing device 4, and a toner 18 adheres onto the photosensitive drum 1 of an exposed part, namely, a light-irradiated part. Subsequently, when the ghost erasing exposure 14 is received, said exposed part is light-shielded by the toner 18 and a photoconductive layer 1b is not irradiated. A non-exposed part which is light-irradiated by a picture exposure 13 is irradiated with the ghost erasing exposure 14, and a carrier is trapped in the same way as the part which is light-irradiated by the picture exposure 13. Accordingly, when executing an electrostatic charge of the next copying cycle, the exposed part and the non-exposed part in the previous cycle are charged electrostatically to a uniform surface potential.
